The Church (as defined below) is committed to protecting the privacy of its Users (as defined below). The term “Church” shall refer collectively to World Mission Society Church of God A NJ Corporation, Inc. The terms “you” and/or “User” shall refer to the customer, user and/or viewer visiting wmscog.com (the “Website”), and his/her/its heirs, related entities, successors, assigns, shareholders, directors, officers, members, employees and agents. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines the information collected by the Church from its Users through the Website and how that information is used.

What information does the Church collect through the Website?

The Church does not collect your data such as your name, email address, telephone numbers, physical addresses, or other identifying information (“Personal Information”) without your consent. In the event that you elect to communicate with the Church through the “Contact Us” online portal page, you may be providing the Church with information that he voluntarily elects to include in such communications. By submitting such communication, you consent to providing the Church with all identifying information that may be included therein.

The Website may also incorporate web beacons or similar tracking technologies to allow the Church to track how the Website is used. How Does The Church Utilize Personal Information?

The Church only utilizes the Personal Information you submit via the Website to respond your online communication to the Church. How does the Church Use Anonymous Information and Analytics Information collected through its analytics professionals?

The Church may combine your Anonymous Information and Analytics Information with similar information collected from other Users to help improve the Website and the Church’s other internal uses.

You acknowledge and agree that the Church may share your Anonymous and Analytics Information with its employees, independent contractors and vendors as it deems necessary for the Church to effectuate the purposes of the Website.

In addition, the Website includes links to social media and that may allow for Users to interact between the Website and his social media accounts, including, without limitation, those related to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus and YouTube. Through your Use of the Website, you acknowledge that these social media links and features may collect your Personal Information, Analytics Information and Anonymous Information. Additionally, through your Use of the Website, you acknowledge that the Personal, Analytics and/or Anonymous Information collected and used by these social media platforms may be broader than that collected by the Church or the Website. Moreover, the Church shall be entitled to use the additional information, if any, provided by the social media accounts in the same manner that it uses other information collected by the Website and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

How else is information collected about Users?

Be advised that the Church utilizes several services in the creation, maintenance, marketing and operation of its Website. The Church does not own or operate these services and as such does not make any warranties with respect to these services, the companies that provide them and/or the Personal and Anonymous information that they may independently collect. These services include, without limitation: Google® Analytics, Jetpack, and Word Press. Please review the Privacy Policies, Terms and Conditions and other rules associated with these respective services to better understand what information they collect as you Use the Website and how they use that information. The Church may, at any time and without prior notice, change the services it uses to create, maintain and operate its Website. How can a User update his Personal Information?

You may request that the Church revise, update or delete its Personal Information and any identifying Analytics Information by sending a written request to the Church to webmaster@wmscog.com. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that the Church shall have no obligation to delete any information which it is entitled to retain by law, such as for example, though without limitation, where it may retain such information in order to assert a legal defense or claim, or where the information has been collected pursuant to a legitimate business purpose or other rationale where your consent may not be required.

Does the Church Share or disclose Users’ Personal Information?

Except as otherwise provided herein or within the Agreement and/or the Terms and Conditions of the Website, the Church will not intentionally distribute, rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties without your permission, except as outlined herein. The Church may also disclose Personal Information about its Users or information relating to their Use of the Website for any reason if, in its sole discretion, it determines that it is otherwise reasonable to do so, including, without limitation: To comply with laws, such as without limitation, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, regulations or governmental or legal requests for such information;

To reveal information that is needed to identify, contact or bring legal action against any User who may be violating the terms and conditions of the Website;
To take steps to protect and defend rights and property, including without limitation, intellectual property of the Church or that of third parties;
To operate the Website properly;
To protect the Website and its Users; and/or
To fully cooperate with law enforcement authorities, private-party litigants and others seeking information about its Users to the extent required by applicable law.

If the Church receives a request from law enforcement or judicial authorities, or is otherwise required by law to reveal your Personal Information, then it reserves the right to provide the requested information.

Does the Church Share or disclose Users’ Anonymous or Analytic Information?

The Church may disclose your Anonymous or Analytics Information in the same manner described above for potential sharing of your Personal Information.

In addition, Users’ Anonymous Information and Analytics Information may also be disclosed in association with certain of the Church’s business dealings such as the exploration of any debt financing, acquisition or merger, sale of assets or ownership interests and in the event of a bankruptcy, assignment for benefit of creditors or receivership in which particular information could be sold or transferred to other parties as an asset.

The Church may also share Users’ Anonymous Information and Analytics Information with potential business partners.

What security measures does the Church use to protect Users’ information?

The Church uses reasonable security measures that are designed to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, such as SSL HTTPS encrypting. The Church undertakes reasonable efforts to operate secure data networks, which are protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. The Church undertakes reasonable efforts to review its security and privacy policies on a periodic basis and it may adjust and change the systems as necessary. Please note, however, that no data security measures can be guaranteed to be completely effective. Consequently, the Church cannot ensure or warrant the security of any personal information or other information. You transmit Personal Information and other data to the Church at your own risk.
