The Hudson Valley Kimchi Festival is back again! This year, festival-goers have the opportunity to try several types of authentically made kimchi and experience Korean culture through a variety of traditional dishes, games and activities.
In addition, this year’s festival will also feature diverse cuisines from all throughout the world, including Latin America, the Caribbean, Armenia, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Serbia and Brazil!
Sunday, December 1st
11 A.M. – 6 P.M.
Kimchi, a fermented side dish with various vegetables and seasonings, is a staple in Korean cuisine. It’s Korean tradition to prepare large amounts of kimchi in December to last through the winter. Join the World Mission Society Church of God and partake the 2,000-year-old tradition. All attendees are also welcome to learn about the World Mission Society Church of God and its historical roots in Korea through a timeline exhibit.
Some of the Korean dishes to look forward to include Korean pancakes, bulgogi (Korean grilled beef), and LA galbi (Korean BBQ short ribs). International delicacies such as Brazilian Cheese Bread, Empanadas, Cabbage Rolls, Serbian Sausage, Moussaka, and Persimmon Punch will also be served!
*An admission fee of $20 for 5 meal tickets will be collected at the door per person. Additional food tickets will be sold at a determined price.
