This day, although often overlooked, holds significant importance in recognizing the hard work and dedication of employees. The Church of God took special care to ensure that employees felt appreciated and valued. A total of 27 guests attended the event, including one attorney and one senior court clerk from the Bronx Supreme Courthouse.

The event began with an introduction video of the Church of God, in which guests had the opportunity to learn more about the church. Following the video, guests enjoyed dinner and live performances. Highlights included a duet of Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up” and a performance by the Bronx Church of God Choir, who sang “Wherever We Go,” a song composed by its members.

Next, the seminar on creating a happy workplace provided guests with simple strategies to boost positivity and handle stress at work. They learned about the importance of a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels respected and encouraged. Tips like mindfulness exercises and good communication were shared to help deal with challenges calmly. By focusing on mental well-being and positivity, workplaces can make employees happier and more productive. These tips emphasized the importance of a positive environment for everyone’s success and happiness at work.

Lastly, guests were given thank you cards to express gratitude towards their coworkers. They jotted down one thing they appreciated most. One coworker wrote, “Working and learning with you has been the ultimate highlight. I’m so thankful we met as coworkers but left as friends.” As the event concluded, the guests received thank you gift bags and were invited to participate in Bible study sessions. A total of 7 Bible studies were held that evening, with many guests looking forward to returning after experiencing the love of God and the warmth of the Church of God members.
