The Women’s Veil and Honor in Worship
In worshiping God, our goal extends beyond receiving blessings—it’s about showcasing the glory of God. To achieve this, our focus should be on wholeheartedly embracing the teachings outlined in the Bible (Lev 18:4-5). One such teaching is the women’s veil regulation.
“Every man who prays ... with his head covered dishonors his head [Christ]. ...
Every woman who prays ... with her head uncovered dishonors her head.”
1 Corinthians 11:4–5
This teaching may differ from what we’re accustomed to. However, the Bible stands as our only benchmark to gauge our faith. Paul emphasized the importance of following the example set by Christ—women praying and worshiping with their heads covered and men doing so with their heads uncovered.
